Hamlet Hail To The Thief
Hamlet Hail to the Thief was developed as a digital extension of the stage production, designed to translate the atmosphere, tension, and emotional depth of the live performance into an online space.
The Hamlet Hail to the Thief website is a beautifully atmospheric extension of the stage production, designed to carry the same emotional weight and intensity as the live performance.
Co-created by Thom Yorke, the production reimagines Radiohead’s iconic album as a powerful theatrical score. Originally produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company, the show inspired a digital experience that balances bold visuals, expressive typography, and carefully paced storytelling.

The Approach:
Our approach focused on restraint and respect for the original artistic world. Working with existing production artwork and visual material, we shaped a website that doesn’t compete with the source, but instead frames it—allowing the imagery, sound, and narrative tone to lead the experience.
The Result:
The result is a cinematic, slow-paced environment where typography, spacing, and motion work together to echo the rhythm of theatre. Rather than functioning as a traditional promotional site, it behaves more like an unfolding prologue to the performance itself—inviting visitors into the mood of the show before they ever arrive at the theatre.
